We recommended uninstalling standalone Trezor Bridge as explained below in this article. Having standalone Trezor Bridge installed on your computer may interfere with using your Trezor device in future releases.
The standalone Trezor Bridge was a program that facilitated communication between the Trezor device, Trezor Suite and supported browsers.
Standalone Trezor Bridge was designed to run in the background with direct interaction required on the part of the user. If the standalone Bridge has been previously installed, you will be able to find the trezord process running in the background:
Windows: in Task Manager search for trezord
MacOS: in Activity Monitor search for trezord
Linux: in System Monitor search for trezord-go
To see the Trezor Bridge status, visit the Trezor Bridge status page. If standalone Trezor Bridge has been uninstalled this page will not be viewable.
In case you still need to uninstall the standalone Trezor Bridge from your computer (for example to upgrade to the latest version incorporated with Trezor Suite), follow the instructions for your operating system as detailed below:
MacOS
Windows
Linux
